Measuring Success

It’s important to manage expectations when beginning your CPAP journey. Like any new habit, adaptation can take time. Some people experience relief immediately; others progress more gradually. View this as a journey with ups and downs, but keep focused on your long-term benefits.

Tips & Reminders:

  • Reconnect with your “why.” Whether it’s health, family, or focus—your reason matters.
  • Success starts with perspective: stay patient, stay consistent, and aim for progress—not perfection.
  • Minor discomfort shouldn’t derail progress. Take control early and adapt the setup to work for you.
  • It’s okay to slip—but returning quickly matters. Consistency is key.
  • Consider the risk of untreated apnea on your energy, mood, relationships, and health — Own the Night. Seize the Day.

We’re here for you. You’re not alone in this. If something isn’t working, tell us—we’ll help make it right. And don’t hesitate to lean on the people around you. Support makes all the difference.

Class Access & Tech Check

We’ll use Google Meet, a secure, encrypted video platform that complies with PIPEDA and applicable provincial health-privacy laws in Canada. No private medical information will be shared during this class.
Note: If you experience trouble connecting to the video call, click the Assistance tab in the bottom-right corner and submit a message outlining your concern. This will be monitored during the session.
  • Step A: Complete steps 1–4 in the Class Preparation section above. This is Step 5.
  • Step B: Locate your Google Meet invite link in your confirmation email or Jane account.
  • Step C: Join from a computer if possible; you do not need your microphone or camera for this class.
  • Step D: Test your connection and speakers before class (microphone/camera can remain off).
  • Step E: Sign in a few minutes early — classes begin on time.

A computer is preferred to enhance your class experience; however, if you choose to use a phone, please ensure it is positioned on a stable surface so your hands are free to take notes, manage equipment, and participate comfortably.
